Passages Canada volunteers share their personal accounts of cultural identity and immigration online in our multimedia Story Archive and in person in schools and community groups. Book a speaker to visit your classroom and provide a personal perspective on the importance of citizenship.

The Canadian Encyclopedia

The Canadian Encyclopedia is the most authoritative and comprehensive reference of all things Canadian for students, readers and scholars. All 40,000 articles, 6,000 interactive maps, graphs, photographs and animations are available in both official languages.

The Memory Project

The Memory Project includes veterans of the Second World War, Korean War, Peacekeeping Missions and currently serving Canadian Forces personnel who share their service experiences with schools and community groups. Visits are available in both French and English, in person or via Skype. Check out The Memory Project’s online resources, offering students the opportunity to hear the experiences of thousands of servicemen and women.

Indigenous Arts & Stories

Indigenous Arts & Stories invites youth of Aboriginal descent to create a short piece of writing or two-dimensional piece of art for a chance to win great prizes and have their work published or exhibited.

Encounters with Canada

Encounters with Canada is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for Canadian teens to meet young people from across the country. Participants spend a week in the nation’s capital, take part in exciting adventures, explore future career options and learn more about our country!
